About Rehearsals

  • Mostly Sunday Evenings - key dates

  • 5.00 pm - 8.00 pm

  • 3rd Heathmont Scout Hall, H.E. Parker Reserve

  • ​Plus - 2 long Sundays and 1 weekend rehearsal

  • You will be lead by our young and energetic Rehearsal Team

  • Rehearsals take place in brackets so you are always doing something

  • This is your time to practice and learn your parts

Theatre Details

  • Wednesday 28th - Saturday 31st August

  • The Round, Nunawading

  • 5 Shows performed to a large audience - 4 evenings and 1 Saturday matinee

  • You will be transformed into a new character for each item through the use of costumes and makeup.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to have experience on stage?

No. Whitehorse Showtime welcomes all levels of experience and will help develop new skills.

​

How old do I have to be?

11 or older on opening night.

 

Do I need to be in Scouting or Guiding?

Yes. To be a member of the cast you must be an active and registered Scout or Guide.

​

Do I have to audition?

All cast are expected to participate in auditions so the rehearsal team can learn more about you and how they can help you shine on stage.

 

What happens if I don’t get in?

Everyone who applies is automatically accepted into the cast so welcome aboard.

 

Is it free?

The cast are required to pay a Cast Fee to assist in covering the costs of putting on the show. All members of the show are encouraged to support our
fundraisers.
